The Alliance for a Healthier Generation has an important mission—to reverse the alarming growth of childhood obesity in America. Their sponsors, the American Heart Association and the Clinton Foundation, realised that the Alliance needed a truly compelling website to tell its story—and urgently!
Working closely with the Alliance under tight time constraints, Broadstreet formulated a communications strategy that satisfied the unique needs of both sponsors. Broadstreet went on to create an inviting and powerful site in under two months, providing information architecture, visual design, animation and programming.
The result - www.healthiergeneration.org - is an invaluable resource for parents, adults and educators, offering distinct sections for each group. As the site was made to be easily updated, the Alliance has continued to enrich it with new content—including a Spanish-language edition and a bespoke assessment tool that guides schools through the most important steps to combat child obesity.
