Newedge, the world’s leading global, multiasset broker, faced a challenge. In its first year in existence – and in the midst of the worldwide financial crisis – the firm had posted exceptional results, soaring to a leadership position in its markets at a time when many of its competitors were struggling just to survive.

So what was the problem?

The firm realised that in order to build on its initial success, it needed to consolidate its culture, share the learnings of its diverse businesses with every member of the senior management team and create an esprit de corps that is uniquely Newedge. And it needed to happen quickly.

Broadstreet collaborated with the firm to create a breakthrough event focused on the exchange of ideas, skill-building, networking and teaming that will enable Newedge to attain its vision – to be the leader in global brokerage. We gathered the 180 top Newedge executives from around the world for a three day management convention. Over the course of the event, they participated in “talk shows” on each of the firm’s businesses, worked in training sessions to master client expectations and the Newedge Management Principles, collaborated to complete a variety of fun, inventive teambuilding activities that reinforced the Newedge Values and they committed to inspiring and engaging their teams to raise the performance of Newedge to even greater heights.
